Our average age is about thirty years of age; but we have lots of children, young people, middle aged families, those who claim to be empty nesters and then there are seniors. A church made up of all ages.
The leadership responsibility of the church resides in the elders and deacons who make up the church council. The Pastor and Youth Pastor are considered elders on Council. Twice a year the Council holds a meeting open to church members to ensure the church remains accountable on matters of finances and programs.
The church desires the community to be a safe environment. Langley Immanuel CRC requires all those in leadership to submit a criminal records check. This policy covers all those involved in leadership and care over children and youth.
