Langley Immanuel Church has both formal and informal links with the community in terms of meeting needs. The following represent some of these connections:
1. Immigration Services: Providing, through the Deacons, support to new Canadians as they strive to integrate into our community.
2. Langley Food Bank: Financial and Prayer support is offered. This agency is in regular need for money and food.
3. Gateway of Hope: There is financial support offered as well as volunteers who are on call when the "Emergency Weather Response" call is made.
4. Bathesda Homes: Our church continues to be a place for those with significant mental and physical handicaps who desire to worship with a regular church.
The Deacons of the church are those in charge of taking care of the physical needs of people within the church and in the community.
