The church is governed by a council made up of 12 elders and 6 deacons. Called the "Full Council" when it meets, it is served by a number of committees. A small administration council made up of 3 elders, a deacon, church administrator and pastor, prepares the agenda for the full council and provides the organizational support and efficiencies needed to make the council do its work effectivelly.

The church council provides at least two congregational meetings a year to keep members informed and when needed get voting support for annual budgets and policy changes.
